We have a holistic approach towards research, which we naturally consider to be an integral part of knowledge accumulation. At RIO, we do research on all aspects of India with rigor and objectivity so as to contribute to India becoming a truly knowledge society. Our research interests are extensive enough to include such diverse subjects as Indian history, religion, culture, political affairs, international relations, economy, society, environment, etc. At the same time, they are intensive enough to permit us adequate levels of specialization, without which no research can ever hope to become original and insightful.
